KATHY DILLON, SECRETARY

Kathy Dillon began working in the non-profit sector early in life when she went to work at a
living history museum. Since the staff was small, everyone at the museum was
also a volunteer in some capacity. In addition to creating profits from the gift
shop, she worked on event planning that involved multiple non-profit groups.
Several years later, Kathy moved to a new position in a non-profit history museum.
During this time, she was involved in operations: from newsletters to fundraising and
everything in between. Kathy’s many years working in those non-profits gave her a vast array of knowledge. Her two biggest takeaways are; 1. People are the heart of your non-profit and 2.
Everyone involved wears many hats. She is proud and excited to be serving as a board member of this heartfelt organization.
